Love is song and prayer, marching to break ground on a new church.

It is amazing to witness a ceremony like this. The march from the temporary meeting site lead by the musicians to an open field on the side of a mountain that overlooks what looks like the garden of Eden. As the wind sweeps through, you could feel the presence of the holy spirit moving amongst us as we surrounded this holy ground. It was truly a once and a lifetime experience.

But, for Rev. Padale this happens once every few months as they have planted over 85 churches in rural west India. Amazing. Love is Action.

The Attack. Love is Reconciliation.

It blows my mind that things like this still take place in the 21st century. The integrity and commitment to the gospel from the folks at CLIA is amazing. Hopefully this story will inspire you to forgive. Love is reconciliation.

Balloons!!

Nothing brings smiles quicker than balloons. I don’t care how old you are. In this case, these girls haven’t had a balloon maybe ever. Imagine that smile. What you don’t see here are how many times these balloons were patched and re-inflated. I think I saw them playing with these balloons in some form or another for the 3 days we were in Abhona. Love is grateful.

Recess! (At the English Day School)

Remember the good ole days. Recess was my favorite subject by far. There is nothing more to love than a bunch of cute little 4 and 5 year people running around with smiles. They don’t have a lot to play on, but that doesn’t steal their joy. In fact, they gave me some joy. Awesome. Love is Joy.

Cooking over an open fire—the current girls’ home kitchen

What is amazing about this is that they cook between 300 and 400 meals daily here. This kitchen feeds all 150 children and staff. Not only is it sooo much extra work, but the health risks involved with cooking over an open fire are extremely dangerous.

C’mon guys let’s put some love into action and get them a better kitchen.

Christian Love in Action, an introduction.

CLIA is an NPO serving India since 1975. We are committed to the villages surrounding Nashik, India. We began in 1975, with Rev. Padale’s daily walks to share love with the local villagers. Since then we have founded 85 churches and have reached 50,000 people.
